BlazeLink is a powerful, user configurable, instrument interfacing utility that captures instrument data and processes it into a formatted text output file suitable for delivery to other systems (e.g., LIMS). BlazeLink operates on Windows platforms and can reside on instrument computers or acquisition concentrators that provide distributed transfer of instrument data. The system takes advantage of network and standard Windows features for acquisition and transfer of the data. BlazeLink simultaneously supports multiple instruments with different configurations. Bidirectional handshaking capabilities are available for each instrument. BlazeLink licensing is based on the number of instruments.

BlazeLink operates as a foreground or background process capable of automatically importing instrument output files or serial data. Data is manipulated based upon user-defined instructions that are created and retained using point-and-click features. BlazeLink can be configured to automatically display parsed data in a grid, allowing the user to approve or reject results before they are exported to an information system. Features include:

Bidirectional instrument control and handshaking
Text file and/or serial data capture
